Monkey Island Master Plan

Mike Hughes Architects developed the Canals of Monkey Island master plan and conceptual study for hotel, restaurants, marina, and themed accommodations such as cottages, cabins, and tree houses on Grand Lake, northeast of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The edge of the popular fishing and recreational power lake will be reshaped and pulled into the build line in order to provide better access to the water both visually and functionally. Views of the lakes and woods are key to the placement of each building.
