Stoney Creek Inn & Conference Center

Mike Hughes Architects provided full architectural services for a new hotel and conference center in Independence, Missouri. The 165-room urban lodge features an eclectic design language which pairs contemporary finishes with rustic lodge themes.

Mike Hughes Architects worked closely with the owner to conceptualize and refine this signature style. The hotel encompasses over 123,000 square feet, complete with indoor pool, fitness area, meeting rooms, a breakfast room and a fitness center. The conference center adds an additional 22,000 square feet for meetings with a ballroom for 1,400 people, an auxiliary meeting space and a catering kitchen.
