Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Olathe, Kansas offers 135,000 square feet of themed retail. The massive fieldstone fireplace in the lobby serves as an anchor to the central, defining clerestory. From the lobby you can follow animal tracks on the floor that lead you through a variety of departments. A wildlife waterfall fills the 18,500 gallon Fresh Water aquarium on one side and on the other, feeds a 7,000 gallon Canyon Stream, stocked with rainbow trout and ducks.

Uncle Buck’s Grill, located under the same roof, offers unusual American fare seven days a week. A full-service bar boasts its own 15,000 gallon saltwater aquarium. Uncle Buck’s also features three private dining rooms, and a two-thousand square-foot, covered patio.
